Default Long Trip & Protection

I'm heading for a 2200 mile round trip with my 2400 mile GT/CS garage queen...any paint protection advice? My first car had a ?leather? hood "bra", but was held on my magnents to the hood (until I removed it, to find scratches/rust)...obviously not an option...Any help would be great...

Two words....clear bra. Just do a search for it and you should find a bunch of information on vendors, price, etc.

I believe there are also products available that you can paint or spray on that are water soluble for later removal. Either case, some online searching should give you some answers.

There are a few companies out there that specialize in Clear Bras or Clear Mask. If I were taking mine out for long road trip like that, I would invest in one of them.

Here are some examples;

Motor Trend even did a write up on it;

I had a regular bra for my 2005 Mustang GT before I did the GT500 front end conversion and it work very well....took my car on many mountain runs and road trips with it and never had any damage (ie: scatches) afterwards.....but now I run a clear bra on the front of my GT500 and would definitely recommend.....IMO, it is worth the additional money
