occasional stalling out?
so ive put about 300 miles on my 06 gt in 2 months and 99% of the time its fine. Every now and then when im coming to a stop i put it in neutral and coast the last few feet b4 stopping. Twice today the rpms dropped below 500 and stalled out, fourth time since ive owned it? Anyone know what it is and how to fix it?

Could that be the fuel pump?
There's a TSB on it. But your symptoms sound a bit different.
For me (auto) only happens if I've driven for 30 mins or so. If I either come to a stop, then start again, or go to pass someone on the highway, the car will NEARLY stall, and run fine after that.

not sure stalling out is the right terminology but it dies at idle occasionally. other than that it runs perfect. when i pass or just driving no probs at all? the only thing i can think of is my throttle postion sensor but im not a mechanic!

Try a bottle of Iso-Heet (the one with the isopropyl alcohol). Maybe you have a bit of water in the gas tank. Here's the tricky part. One bottle may cure the problem, may not result in any change, or may make the problem worse temporarily.
If it cures the problem, you probably had a touch of water in the tank and you're done for now. Just add a bottle from time to time.
If it doesn't result in any change, then the problem is likely something else.
If the problem gets worse, then you probably do have water in the tank to the extent that one bottle isn't enough to remove all the water. The reason the problem gets worse is because the Iso-Heet is removing the water from the tank. As it removes the water, the engine runs rough. Add a bottle with every fill-up until the car runs well. Don't use more than the recommended amount at any one time.
As routine maintenance, I add a bottle at the beginning of the rainy season, and then I add a bottle once a month until dry weather arrives. The first bottle I added this year resulted in occasional dropping of the rpm below normal when stopping. After that, everything was fine.

Do you have any mods? Have you cleaned your throttle body? Mine had rough idle and would stall sometimes also. Cleaned the filter (Mac), MAF and the throttlebody. After that ran like new. Make sure you use the right cleaner for each. Thay ARE NOT interchangable. Only takes about an hour, mostly due to drying the air filter. But makes a big difference.

I have a CAI, not sure which one it is, it was on the car when i bought it. I also have MAC axle back exhaust. Its just weird to me that it runs absolutley perferct, idles perfect and everything. Then ill drive it somewhere go to turn and while downshifting or putting it in nuetral b4 coming to a complete stop (i have a manual) it will die. Now this is only happened a few times but it confuses me to death

Find out which CAI it is, IIRC the only one that doesn't need a tune is the K&N. Did it come with a tuner? Idle might be set to low, or running to lean. Do you have the stock airbox? Could try installing one to see if it helps.
