Default Need help asap!! Where is the Starter wire?

Hey guys, I am installing a engine start button and I need to find the starter wire? Anyone know which one the start wire is? I know the green is the ignition. If not does anyone know a postive lead that stays on while the car is on, and turns off when the car is off?

Seems like he went with the kit that has no installation instructions.....
YGWYPF....

How bout a new take on this $100 aftermarket push button starting thing...

I just wired my starter for 'constant request'.
Well, constant while the key is in the RUN position, that is.
When I turn the key to the RUN position, (like
you must do with a START button), the engine
automatically comes to life, the PCM knows
the engine has started and stops the starter
motor even though I have the starter request
constanty requesting the engine to start.
Try it for yourself. Start the engine as normal
but hold the key is the start position AFTER the
engine has started. The PCM will not allow the
starter to be engaged when the engine is running.
Who needs a $100 START button anyhow.
I just turn the key to the RUN position and bypass
all that START ENGINE button stuff. I push enough
buttons all day long, the need to push buttons in
the stang is just wrong. Maybe it relates to flying a
plane and all those buttons and guages to push and read?
Heck, even the new Challenger has keyless engine start.
Just need to be in the proximity and she jumps to life
saying 'drive me, drive me'.
Now which one will I drive today...

(Pin)7 (circuit)1522 (Color) DG (Gauge) 18 = Voltage supplied in Start
(Pin) 1 (Circuit) 1044 (color) WH-YE (Gauge) 18 = Voltage supplied in Start and Run or
I wouldn't recommend this unless you have an alarm system or a GPS tracker installed in your car (Not held responsible for thefts, only education purposes)
(Pin) 4 (circuit) 1050 (color) LG-VT (Gauge) 18 = Voltage supplied at all times
You can make this yourself. With a relay, push button, and two Diff. colors of wires plus grown which is Black or Brown. Cost $25-35 Goodluck

Guess you need educating about the PATS system S197s have....

No stealin her without the chipped key unless you tow-truck
it. Then a dealer is needed to reprogram the PCM to recognize
new keys.

so you rewired the ignition to save your self one click of the key?you moved the starter wire over to the key on wire?so now you cant just get in the car to listen to the radio with out the car running? how does your tuner like that, mine says "turn key but do not start engine"(assuming you have a tuner).
