upgrading headlights?

Default upgrading headlights?

i have a 2010 mustang and want some more power from my headlights i have now. any suggestions UNDER 100 bucks?

No. Save up a few more hundred and do it the right way.

Drop-in HIDs cause this to everyone else:

i would get HID's. one problem. i would have to pay 4 grand. need a new wiring harness, and all kinds of other gear.

Have you seen them first hand in our projector enclosures? They shouldn't glare like that.

Edit: they CAN if your headlights are aimed improperly and you don't have bulb capping.

that picture is a very very very rare ocasion with aftermarket HIDS. Plus your camera picked up way more glare than is actually there. I have HIDS in my yukon and the beam is exactly the same as it was with stock bulbs.

AJ 68 nailed it.

As long as you have capped bulbs and your headlights are aimed properly, the stock housings will not glare like that. I have HID kits installed in an '05 GT and '07 GT500 and they are terrific, and don't glare to oncoming traffic.

There are plenty of aftermarket H13/9008 HID kits available, and installation is easy. You're going to need a bi-xenon kit to maintain high-beams, so I don't think you'll get a quality kit for <$100.
