Default Cervini's '67 hood?

Does anyone have the Cervini's '67 hood? It's one of the hoods I'm considering but was wondering if anyone has issues with water entering the scoops. I'm going to be getting a polished Whipple and don't like the idea of water splashing on the pretty little thing.

does that have a duct to the intake? or does the air just flow over the engine? i doubt either would really get wet at all. mine has a duct to go directly over the intake and ive never seen water in my engine bay from it.

That hood looks really good on your car.

The scoops are open and it looks like it would dump rain water right over the Whipple. You can actually get an optional ram air kit that directs air to the air box so no water gets on the engine. The only thing is I'm not sure if the ram air kit will work with the Whipple.

I'm picking up my car this week from the paint shop. I just got a '67 installed. It looks BADASS! I checked it out over the weekend while they were laying clear over my stripes. I want to thank Vectorpat for having a picture... it convinced me to get mine. I'll post some pictures when I get the car back.

Thats awesome!! Cant wait to see some pics. I dont think it will dump water on the blower but what concerns me is it is right in front of the belt. I have some metal grating across the opening I have thought about using some magnetic sign material and making some kind of cover to put over the inlet when its raining. I have also thought about getting the ram air kit and modifying it to work with the Whipple intake, just dont know if it will fit under the hood tho. I have another vehicle to drive so this car is mainly for weekends and nice weather.
You will need to get some hood pins as this hood does move a lot at highway speeds.
Heres another pic of mine.

That's cool that you also have a Whipple. I had the same concern about the scoop opening being right over the belt. I've also thought about getting the ram air kit but wasn't sure if it would work with the Whipple. Let me know if you decide to get it and make it work somehow. I will definitely get some hood pins. Thanks!
