Default Blinker Question

I have an odd thing going on. My left blinker is twice as fast as my right. It has to be related to the fact that when I had my hood done, I also had them respray the bumper and chin. I think when they removed the bumper, something happened. Is this just as simple as replacing the bulb? Is that what regulates it?

You might be low on blinker fluid.

Seriously, it sounds like a ground issue.

One of your bulbs has gone bad, find out which one & replace it. Ford's version of a warning that there's a dead bulb............

^-- +1. Usually mean a bulb is out either front or rear on that side.

Ahh the blinker fluid. (Slaps forehead.)

OK. I'll start with the left front. That was quick. Thanks.

Of course everybody knows that synthetic blinker fluid lasts much longer than the cheap stuff.

Or, of course, you could forget to reconnect the bulb to the socket. Bought the bulbs, climbed under the car to remove the "Bad" bulb, and found the connection just hanging there. Plugged it back together and "Voila"!

Anybody need some extra blinker bulbs?? I got two.

It's nice to have an easy fix once in a while.
