Default The next update Mustangs need is

6 more back seat inches to make the car a true 4 seater. The car is plenty long enough for it. I guess I should write to Ford and tell them.

I'll take two updates.

1) 67/68 style Fastback.
2) unfugly'ed rear end.

Actually I wouldn't mind if there was a 2 seater version. The 2005 concept car was a 2 seater and I was looking forward to that. Then the final 2005 was released seating 4 and I was sad.

It might as well be a 2 seater now. The back seaters don't have leg room unless the front seaters jam themselves against the dashboard!

The S197 has the most rear seat leg room since who knows when. I would prefer 67/68 fastback like Knight suggested.

I like it the way it is now. Great to have some room behind the front seats for stuff you are carrying from Point A to Point B, but don't want to put in the trunk. Room for two passengers in a pinch, but not so much room that people you don't really like are asking you to be the chauffeur for the evening.

i only ever let 1 person in my car other than myself. if there was a group and we needed rides, i'd be a gentleman and offer one of the ladies a ride. since there was no leg room in the back the guys had to get another ride.

i think ford thought ahead on that one.

I rarely have passengers in my Mustang and if I do, it's usually only one. If I have to take more than that, I drive my Conversion Van.
