Default 2005 GT Convertible - rear glass falling out

Hi all,
My rear glass is seperating from the convertible top on my 2005 GT. Best I can tell, it looks like it just needs to be glued back in - is this correct? What is the "correct" glue to use for this?
If I were to pay someone to do it, any guess what it should cost and what sort of shop would be the right one to take it to (auto repair, glass place, etc?)

Thanks!

Same thing happened to my sisters 07 GT vert. Obviously a factory defect Ford wouldn't do anything about. The guy who put her new top on told me the best thing he could recommend is Liquid Nails if we wanted to try to glue it. He also said it probably would fail. She opted for a new top, she's very **** about her baby, like i am lol. Was a little over $1600 but the new top looks like a better one and has a 5 year warranty, which is longer than Fords. Good luck with it.

My 05 is doing the same thing in 2 different spots. I just noticed it about a month ago. Its like the canvas is rolling up off the window, like you said, its like the factory glue is coming loose. its not bad now, but it can only get worse. I also would appreciate any ideas for fixing it.

A glass shop will have the correct glue for it.
You might have to take the top off though, but hey, it's spring break right?

Look under you back seat and see if there's any water under it. Also in the trunk in the well for the spare.

There is a water leak there - I've known about it for some time, but haven't had time to try and track it down and fix it (I think it's actually been there since day 1). It's actually on the opposite side from where the window is separating, though. My solution so far has been to not use the car in the rain and to park in covered areas. Any clue where that water is getting in/how to fix?

2 part urethane will handle the job.
Its not commercially available, though
unless you buy it by the quart thru an
authorized 3M dealer.

It could be coming in there but running to the other side.
