Exclamation Question about my CAI!!!

I just got it last week.(C&L Racer)
So today I was washing my car and remembered there is no cover for the CAI like on the stock one.
Opened up the hood and noticed some spots of water on the filter.

Is this going to hurt it?
Did I do a No no?

Do I need to cover it up everytime with a plastic bag or something to be safe? I am washing right now... and covered it up with a plastic bag.
I am coming in every once in a while to see if the thread is answered haha.

it should be fine as long as it isnt soaked. i definitely wouldnt spray directly onto the filter if you are washing the engine bay, put a plastic bag on it among other things while washing the engine bay

Most of those filters are supposed to be washable anyways.. at least I know the BBK one is.
