Ok - I got no clue what this was.

Today I was taking my male neighbor to the dentist in my 2010 shaker 500, no nav package. I've never used/connected a cell phone in the car. Neither of us had cell phones or other electrical devices with us. I had nothing plugged into the USB port. My Sirius has expired and my radio was absolutely positively OFF.

My male neighbor and I were alone in the car, driving at speed down a fairly secluded parkway, having a conversation when SHE interrupted us and said 5 to 10 words in pretty good volume of apparent surround sound. I guess we were both so shocked neither one of us caught a single word.

SHE spoke out of the shaker speakers I guess, but it could have been some of the speakers. Originally my neighbor thought one of the words might have been "reset" - but not at all sure.

I may never know what it was SHE said, but I suspect there is some button to hit if it happens again so it replays. If so - what is that?

Mayhaps you entered a command invertantly on your steering wheel?

 

It's possible it could have been asking you if you wanted to run a vehicle health report, it does that sometimes.

I'm nearly certain that's what it was. I remember someone else complaining about something similar.
