That sucks. Took out that one head too. I bet you were hoping to get away without getting heads.

a few questions :

do you like the sandwich adaptor between the oil filter ?

how in god's name do you change the oil filter with the front sway bar in the way ?

the little rubber gasket between sandwich and block....are those things good for a few years before deterioating ?

Yes, the sandwich adapter is easy...

I just pull the motor to change the oil... lol For reals, I use a short filter is all.

I'd imagine they would be fine for a while since they aren't being taken on and off.

wow thats is all because of a freaking clogged cat which made 17lbs of boost this really sucks bruce1 sorry once again. im sure the new block will be even better once you get the build started. good luck

one thing that turned me away from the sandwich adaptor was because getting the filter on and off was a PITA

wat other filter ( part # ) has the same thread size but is shorter ?
