Default Tune Question/Problem

Yesterday I installed GT500 Pumps in my car. The file the tuner sent me has the wrong serial number and unfortunately they are closed. I have verified that the pumps will pressurize the system.

Am I out of luck until monday?

Will the car run with out an updated tune to verify everything is correct (I do not intend to drive it with out an updated tune?

thanks
.

The extra fuel pumps FPDM just parallel the OEM FPDM so all should be well.
Dont thing there is anything in a non-GT500 fuel pump tune that does not require
GT500 pumps that wont let it operate properly with GT500 FPDMs and pumps.
The PCM does not know persay that you installed GT500 pumps...

Thank you. Now that I know it works, I feel better.

http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=40&viewfile...ols - 5.4L.pdf

4.15MB page.
Allow it to load and look for the dual FPDMs and how they are paralled ellectrically.

6th page down.

I am assuming you got the GT500 fuel pump upgrade kit that included
all the wires and extra FPDM as seen in the Ford mags recently?
