Default Problems with Lowering?

So many of you lower your Mustangs. My question is do you run into any problems like the tires rubbing on the wheel well or tires hitting the chassis going over bumps and dips? Some of the cars I see, the tires are so close to the body with very little clearance.

If done properly as with anything else, Its possable to do a 2" drop
because you are loosing that amount of suspension travel on the
bottom end, not the OEM top limit stops.
There is soooo much room, your head would spin.
Its nearly impossable to set it up wrong unless
you just get the wrong size tires and rim offsets...

Everything right and no rubby...

No problems with tires rubbing on the car or anything. You cant drive fast over speed bumps and you have to take pulling out of a parking lot slow sometimes but other than that there is nothing that would get messed up from lowering it.

It handles WAY better now also.

there is a reason people say these things look like a pickup from the factory.

tons of fenderwell room...like the expect us to connect a trailer and tow a load around

just remember that you'll have to take speed bumps diagonally, and driveways, and any other situation where there is a road height change. i had my 03 GT lowered 1.5" and I scraped everything. I love the look of the 05+ lowered, but I can't take that headache anymore. Hell, my front bumper skirt is already dragging on the concrete stop in parking stalls

I had thought about lowering my car but it sounds like a pain in the *** if u live in an area where pot holes can swallow ur car and like what was already stated. Speed bumps and etc. Especially indiana where pot holes are bad in the spring.

Lowered and love it! Never have any issues with rubbing or anything. Like everything else, you just have to teach yourself how to drive a lowered car. Once you know what to look for it just comes automatic when your driving. "Don't fear the drop!"
