help choosing mufflers....
i installed my pypes o/r/x today with my flows(or flow knock offs, dont really know what they are) and its a mean sound, but it needs to be refined.
right now it sounds almost exactly like this....

from what ive read, xpipes and chambered mufflers dont mix...so help. what should i look for?

Bassani seems to go with x's as well as most.

ill have to look into them. also looking at the pypes mid muffler setup.

Frpp/borla stingers, pypes mid mufflers, magnaflow magnapacks, bassani race all go very well with an x pipe

magnapacks would sound nice...if your looking for crazy loud slp is your best bet

I'll second the borlas. I put some on my 66 gmc with a duel injected corvette motor, headers and a x pipe and it almost had a hybrid european v8 sound. Granted they may sounds different on your setup but they still get my vote.

Ohh yikes. That sounds horrible, lol.
Stingers, Mid Mufflers, or Magnapacks would sound much MUCH better.
