Default looking to buy

I am currently looking at buying a 2010 gt convertible. The local dealer found one at another dealer with the options I want and said they would bring it here. The only options are package rapid spec 401A, auto trans and 19" bright machined aluminum wheels. I am an Xplan member and we can get 0% financing. The dealer gave $37500 out the door. What do you guys think? Seems high, but it is the only one in a 500 mile radius with the options I want. Thanks in advance!

HOLY CRAP!!! over priced man. this is the time for rebates and the 2011 will be in high demand. They can't get rid of 2010's fast enough. You are being reamed in price.

Hmmm, rebates are still a little low @ $1000. In a couple months, you'll be seeing $3k+.
I wouldn't pay anywhere near that price, but depending how much you need to have a mustang at this time, you can still talk them down. IMO, I would wait till the 2011 hit the lots. You will find your best deal then.

I just got $8500 off of a 10' GT Premium w/trackpack, security and 401a so I think you can do much better. Oh and wait to buy till the last day of the month. Dealers all have monthly quotas and will do anything even lose money to hit sales quotas on the last day of the month

If you can afford that price your MUCH better off just getting a 2011. Why buy a 2010 anyways when you can find an older s197 for half the price?

2011 id say

Wow, that's ridiculous. Wait 'till summer when the 11's come out, as everyone else mentioned.

I priced a 2011 vert not long ago and it came to around 38k so I would either wait for the 2011 or get them to come down in price quite a bit.

A bit more info may be in order. Does your term out the door include tax, title, doc fees? If so, and you are taking the 0% in lieu of the rebates, then that sounds about right for X-plan. Folks sometimes forget you lose the rebates when you take the 0%.

You may be able to do better than x plan by working your own deal. Also, see how much they are charging you to bring it to your dealership. I may be able to tell you where it is, and save you some money on shipping. You can also try fordvehicles.com and enter zip codes in your surrounding area to find the car.

Lastly, check your company's website or with H.R. to verify that they are giving you the x plan price.
