2011 Build & Price Website is up
Not sure if this is the right place, but I figure some of the current S197 owners thinking about trading up might like to see the cost to build there new dream...

That's really interesting that they don't start you off with the base rims/wheels if you select a GT. You have can "downgrade" them and save money. Also, that they have the Cal Special already; I would have thought they would have waited a few years down the road for that.
$39,935 for a GT convertible that's equipped like mine, except the 2011 would have heated seats and a glowing word "mustang" in front door sill (which I admit is actually kind of cool). Oh, and the 2011 would be a manual.
I think my car stickered for like $35, $36k when I got it in 2008. That's like a 4.5k price jump. Kind of steep, but you pay to play, I suppose?
I'll stick with my baby though. Effectively, it would cost me the difference between a 2011 model and the residual value of my car to move up. And that's like $20k more.
Although one thing I didn't notice - where was the option to change the gear ratio? I'm pretty well stuck with the 3.31's from factory according to hte website.
