275s on an 11.5 wheel? Isn't that stretching the tire a little far? 275s are designed for 9'' wheels... I'd at LEAST go with 315 or 325s.
got to agree. The recommended sizes i say were 305 minimum wide and 275 would like **** on those wheels.i have 285 on my 10 inch wheels dude...you are talk less width and 1.5 inch wider tire!

not if you know the right people lol...

i paid 600 for my tires 255/40 front 275/40 rear and I've figured that if I sell my current wheels at market value, I could get the new set and still come out even or on top.
You are right, your tires will not bulge..... it will stretch...... There's no reason for you to go 11.5 if your just gonna stick with a 275 tire. 275 is ideal for 8.5-9.5 wheels. I have 315 on a 10" wheel and they fit perfect, Very slight bulge to protect the rim a little, and it has come in handy numerous times..... i dont think your going to accomplish the "wide look" with just a 275.........

are you trying to do what the 350z/ import people are doing? Mounting an undersized tire to an oversized wheel? Cuz i think that just looks cheap and they couldnt afford to get the wider tire lol.

Rim Width Range: 9.5 - 11 in - direct from 1010tires tire size calculator for 275/40. and yeah I'm going for a mild stretch look on all 4 corners because im slamming the car os the stretched tire profile will give me more clearance.

Sounds like back in the day when the import crowd would mount 15X10 wheels with a 205/50-15 tire on their mini trucks (sometimes a 195/50-15 tire!). Why such a wide wheel? Gonna be a lot heavier wheel with not much more tire print than you have now...
