Great info guys thanks, reading it all. Removing RSBar would increase understeer. Removing FSBar increases oversteer. Counter intuitive but that's how it works. Either isn't a good idea for road course / curvy handling, although the drift people do like pulling the FSB.

I'd be termpted to pull the seats and affix some thicker neoprene onto the metal just for functionality sake, yeah, oem seats are heavy. An aluminum drive shaft is a great idea, anyone make or is that a custom job?

Done deal on lighter wheels, tires, battery, NVH, etc other "easy" stuff.

Will def research the bolt-on-ness of the Brembo's onto the 2011 V6. Like some guys crave V8s I crave Brembo's.

Hi, weight reduction is always good. To add to your list of things to do ,you could also think about Steeda's radiator support , BRM's K member , BRM's lower control arms, and some of the after market radiators weigh less. Oh , and the lower control arms can be replaced with lighter items....Lee

BTW, the Car and Driver test was flawed in several ways, but at least people got the idea, though I don't think it was new information to ANY car enthusiast however.
When 22, 24, 26 inch wheels became popular 6-8 years ago, I mention to so many people how they just risked their lives by putting those huge heavy wheels on, especially spinners. Thankfully most realized that and spinners have gone bye bye fast and for the most part, only silly rappers still feel like they need 22+ inch wheels on their rides.
