Default Quarter Panel Question

Hey guys and gals,
I'm new to Ford, so please forgive me. Also, I did a search and couldn't find a definitive answer.

So, here's the deal. I go outside to wash my car this past Saturday, when out of the corner of my eye, I see my passenger side mirror hanging off. As the rage started to emerge, I saw that someone had side-swiped my beloved! The damage was centered at the quarter panel (right on the crease!), but there were some scratches to the door.
I buffed out the scratches and the bumper residue from the other car, but the 8" dent and deep scratches are haunting me. Oh, and there was no note left either!
So, my question is this: Is the quarter panel spot welded on, or bolted? I've never dealt with newer cars, or any Fords. I just want to know what I'm in for if I try to attempt this. I'd hate to bondo it, but that's because I would know its there!

Thanks for reading.

I'm really sorry to hear that, that kind of disregard for people's property pretty much leaves me speechless, expect more heated posts with condolences and all sorts of fun profanity in a few minutes.

For the sake of staying on topic, I believe the quarter panel is bolted on. Definitely don't just take my word for it though. Sorry again to hear the damage, I hope that you can get it fixed soon

I don't know anything about the quarter panel. But I am so sorry that happened to you! Having had this happen to me in the past with other cars, i know how this feels.

Thanks guys. The whole "not leaving a note" thing is what really set me off. If I EVER did that to anyone, I'd leave a note, or even knock on their door.

After reading some of the other posts from searching, I was expecting the obligitory "learn how to park" and such...lol.

But I do have a friend in the business and I'm going to see him tomorrow.
