Thumbs up Vortech V3 HO is a go!

I just spoke with Chandler this morning at Brenspeed and finalized my order. I have a May 21st install date, can't wait!

I'm guessing not since he has an 'install' date. Unless he's just a very organized dude.

No, I'm having Breenspeed do the install. Long trip, but well worth it.

Thanks everyone, I'm really looking forward to the trip. I have no idea what to expect.

Regarding gauges for boost/air, are these necessary to have? I assume they are. They sell the bipod pillar mounts at Breenspeed for $119, but was told that gauges can cost anywhere up to $600. I'm just looking for a good set that will do the job, nothing too expensive. Any suggestions would be great. I will have Breenspeed install these as well.

I have a autometer analog boost gauge and two Aeroforce digital gauges. the Aeroforce gauges are awesome, they can display anything the ECU can see. plus you can wire extra sensors into them. I'm going to add my wideband sensor to my Aeroforce gauges soon, just gotta add a bung to my exhaust.

I personally think you should have a boost gauge on any boosted car. then you can keep an eye on how much boost the motor is really seeing. AF ratio is important too, that'll help you see what's going on in the motor plus alert you if you ever start to run lean for some reason.
