2011 Performance Package or Aftermarket?
Thanks for posting. I like that they wheels are unique, kinda' luke warm on the actual styling of them.
Good point here
"As the parts list for the PP stated, it's got GT pieces with GT500 LCAs, you could buy these pieces at a discount from people modifying their GTs & GT500s and construct your own PP V-6 for pennies on the dollar."
As long as the traction control on the V6 can be fully turned off, then I'd be okay buying a std V6 and building it up from others' cast offs

The CS' are light graphite while the V6 PP wheels are black. That's why I like them. The CS ones look ugly, solely because of the color. My opinion, of course. I like contrast.

While I like the Foose Legends, they're too played out.
As far as being cheaper to buy/install the parts yourself, well, yeah. 3.31 ratio at $400 from Ford, traction control, add the Pirelli tires and the other GT parts, I'd say it's still worth it. I like the wheels, so I will probably keep them. That just saved me more than $1300 to buy new wheels and bigger tires.
If and when I decide I want new wheels, I can certainly sell these wheels for a few hundred, maybe $1000. I'm sure somebody somewhere will want them bad enough. Remember, you can only get them with manual V6 coupe with PP, which makes them more rare than wheels that you can simply upgrade with money. Who knows, maybe some 5.0 guys would rather have these than the CS wheels. I don't see the GT engrave as a deal breaker.
Also, I'm not knowledgeable enough to install the parts myself if I were to purchase them. So buying -used- parts and having labor costs, I'd say it wouldn't be that far from the PP with new parts and Ford installed. Lastly, we know how dealers like to find any little customization and blame problems on the mods.

I am wondering what those wheels weigh. I am trying to get a light weight wheel. I am thinking 18's for the auto since i wont be able to get the performance package wheels.
I am thinking maybe 18s that weigh between 19-24 pounds wearing something 255 wide also.

And no, PP only comes with manual coupes.
Does anyone know if the V-6 PP is available on any V-6 manual, or just on the premium version? If only available on the premium version, that's gonna real close to base GT territory..................
