Default Error Code after high flow cats

I installed Magnaflow high flow cats today and got two error messages.

P1000 OBD systems readiness test not complete
P2197 O2 sensor signal stuck lean Bank 2 sensor 1

I didn't even touch that sensor. Is this at all normal I thought having high flows wouldn't mess with the O2 sensors?

Any help would be appreciated.

the ECU is looking at the O2 sensors after the cats to make sure that they're still there and working it's the manufacturer's way to try and stop people from removing cats.

you can either get a tune that ignores the fact that the cats aren't there or get the spark plug fouler things to space out the O2's from the exhaust. that usually works, worked on my buddy's car. if you already have a tune with free lifetime updates then just get a new tune, otherwise do the fouler mod

here's a walk through on the foulers, different car, same concept...

it could be for the same reason as no cats, otherwise I don't know.

I have Bassanni catted X pipe and I have the CEL code, so did the previous guy that I bought them from. I don't know what trips the sensors, but some people have said that once they had the CEL reset, they did go several months without it showing up, just to simply light up again.

The 02 sensors may be going bad. How many miles on your car? The 02 sensors can start to go bad around 25K.

Unfortunately this is what happens when you start messing with the emissions system in your car...I learned a long time ago, not to mess with that...especially since everything is now computer driven...you may have unleashed a whole mess of electrical gremlins...hopefully you'll be able to get it under control.

Remember, there are a lot of great add-ons out there for your Stang, but the bottom line is that most of those manufacturers don't care if it's compatible with your other systems...they're just out to sell their product and don't always give you a warning about what their product will do... when something wrong happens they will say that they're not responsible and then you the consumer are stuck with it...just my thoughts.

just get a tune that turns off the extra O2's and you'll be fine. messing with the emissions stuff is far from a nightmare but you need to get into the ECU software or you'll have issues.
