Default baer brakes

I will be getting my supercharger very soon and wanted to improve the brakes! This is a street car only, i was looking at the baer 14" kit. here is the link http://www.baer.com/products/rotors/...d-plus-two.php Has anybody tried these yet? I would have like to get different calipers but the way my rims are they will not fit. I used the template and the baers will fit know problem.

You really don't need aftermarket brakes for street use. They look good but unless your going to autocross or road race you might as well spend money for performance stuff. The issue with the stock brakes is heat. They get hot and car won't stop. There are some really good pads, stainless lines and racing brake fluid that will really help. The final decision is up to you though.

Bigger brakes dissipate heat better, I wouldn't agree with a blower bigger brakes couldn't hurt why do you think the GT500 has them.

As for the original post they are a good well known company I'm think about getting them as well but don't have they yet or no anyone that does personally. But the stuff online about them seems to be pretty good.

Best bet or get the agent 47 lower grille inserts that runs the ducts to your brakes to cool them.

Did you get just the front? or front and rear?
Where did you buy them from? and how much?

I guess I'm looking for all the info you got, or a link to a thread, if you started one. Thanks!!

i only did the fronts, as the rears would be essentially useless performance wise. i bought them directly from Baer for $18xx.xx. it is an extra $100 to get one of their "special" colors. the kit for the rear brakes is about $2,0xx.xx.

i didnt post any info in the thread i started just pictures: https://mustangforums.com/forum/2010...ew-brakes.html
