Default Any problems with less backspacing?

My factory zeros are about zero on thread... I was going to transfer a set of Goodyear triple treads to the factory rims. I has these on my Crown Vic on a set of Torque Thrust 17x8 w/4.5" backspacing.

For grins I just tossed 'em on. Very old school. From measuring bumpstops and travel, it don't look like it should hit the fenders (will it from other's experience?).

Any problems with wheel bearings or shortened strut life? I know the scrub angle will be off. It drives fine.

I like the look. I need different centers. Thinking about the flat ones.

The only thing I hate is the rear view. Definately gay.

"Gay" doesn't mean what you seem to think it means.

I've talked to some other folks who've done Crown Vic swaps w/ no probs. Should be fine, looks cool. Might consider fender flares if you don't wanna cause rock chips.

Can't handle the offset. They're back off and the zero's are back on. Will swap tires when I get the chance and the Torque Thrusts will just have to go on the Mach
