2010 CONSOLE
HEY DO IT YOUR SELFERS:
WHO MAKES A CONSOLE PAD LAYOUT FOR THE 2010 GT /VERT COUPE? IT'S NOT AN OPTION! HAS ANYONE BOUGHT AN ELBOW PAD AND ADAPTED IT TO THE CONSOLE? I SEE A '02-'03 PAD AT CAR SHOWS WOULD WORK BUT JUST THE PAD AND THEN VELCRO IT TO THE CONSOLE. ANY INPUT WOULD HELP...SHOW US ALL YOUR INPUTS>>>>

Holy caps lock batman...
Anyway, the console's rear portion does have built in padding (its a little firm). Since it is flush with the top of the rest of the console, you would have some big pad sitting above that surface looking all out of place. I doubt anyone makes what your looking for. The previous models have the console that sits higher and a pad looks ok. What you want would require drilling some holes to mount most likely.

Are you referring to a carpet dashboard cover? They never look good.
IMO dash covers are not necessary as materials manufacturers use have improved a great deal. The best way to protect your dash is to use a water based rubber/plastic protectant. I use, and would recommend, 303 Aerospace Protectant. I use it on all plastic and rubber surfaces both interior and exterior. It even works great on the leather seats. This snipet is from the product details page:
Unbeatable UV protection. 303 Aerospace Protectant has a SPF of 40, the most UV protection offered by any surface protectant. It will prevent drying, cracking, and fading caused by overexposure to the sun. It was originally formulated for aerospace and aviation applications, machines that come much closer to the sun than your vehicle. 303 Aerospace Protectant is the single most effective protectant on the market.

AJ, I think his reference was to the center console not having a very substantial arm rest and was asking if anyone had adapted one to the console lid.
But I am with you on the dashboard covers. buy a sun visor and use an appropriate cleaner to keep them from fading and cracking. Carpet is for the floor!

I've only had dash carpet in one of my cars. It does serve a purpose on some vehicles, it kills the glare that some dashes project back onto the winshield which can be annoying. Haven't had that problem with the stang though myself.
As far as the center console, I can rest my arm on it just fine. I wonder if you have your seat elevated? Edit: lmao nevermind...Just saw your name lol.
