I have a 2010 base GT and a friend of mine has a 2010 v6 premium w/ shaker and sync which he totalled last week and he told me that i can have anything i want off of it, so im gonna get the steering wheel, e-brake handle, and radio since its a 6 disc changer. but my question are since im taking the steering wheel and radio will i be able to use the audio controls on the steering wheel and also what all would be involved in putting his sync in my car? also will the radio even work in my base since its a shaker? thanks for any light yall can shed.

 

Shaker and SYNC come on premium not the deluxe...

get the speakers too, or at least i think theyre different for the 05-09, maybe like the door subs?

 

There lots of parts involved to swap Shaker and Sync .... you need all the wiring, the subs, door panels, the amps, the GPS system, the sync module, center console, center stack cover, mirror with mic, etc ... Plus since it fairly integrated into the cars system the dealer will probably need to update your PCM with those options.

 

I was gonna get the subs but his interior is tan and my is black so that wouldn't look to good but I think I might just swap out the radio and c if the steering wheel controls work with it

 

Dude .. your in GA ??? Does it have SADDLE LEATHER INTERIOR? I would like to buy the SADDLE DOOR PANELS AND SEATS if he wants to sell them!! I'll swap my Black seats into it if he needs something to turn into the insurance company.

no its not saddle its just the regular tan interior

 

I didn't think 2010 Mustangs had Tan .... just black, red, saddle or stone.

 

ok my bad its not saddle so i guess its stone but it looks tan to me
