I've been doing extensive research on these hoods and found them extremely rare to find with the functioning butterflies and vents, outside of some of the members on this forum who are currently owners of them and are willing to sell theirs. I called SMS Supercars and am on a waiting list for the 2010 version as they are retro-fitting them to fit the '05-'09 models as well. I like the '05-'09 version one though, as the butterfly is in the front of the hood scoop as opposed to the sides on the 2010 version. Anyone know where I can find this hood with functional butterfly and vents, and not just an empty shell?

 

There was a guy on here, chase1211, that bought one, had to wait a few months for the other components, and never received them. As far as getting a hood with functional butterflies and vents, I highly doubt you'll get what you're looking for. I know Cruisin' Concepts sells/sold a hood without the butterflies.

You would have to buy it from someone. I'm not sure if it's the same guy, but someone is trying to get rid of one and is also missing the insides. He is willing to let it go for a good price. But yeah, finding from a store is going to be pretty damn hard.

yea this is andrew hes been tring for the longest time to get these and no luck. hes selling his hood for a great price tho so if you have patients to wait for the butterfield to be reproduced then i would grap it

He mentioned once $1000 plus shipping which it's a $1700 hood normally. But don't hold me to his price.
