Default Center Fogs... Finally!

I finally decided to put the frustration of wiring my fogs behind me and I tackled it head on today... definitely a hot day to spend two hours working on it... lol... but well worth it... only thing that didn't work out like it is supposed to is the fogs come on when the high beams are on not when they are off... so even following the directions to the T, it's backwards... lol... oh well... I just like the look of it... now I need to stop procrastinating and paint my lower grille black like I've been planning for months
(and yes I know... she's dirty... lol)

thanks everyone... I hope to get working on the grille within the next week or two... I've got a really busy work schedule, so it's hard to find the time... all I have left is the lower grille and my shr flush mount louvers and the exterior will be complete! I really need to find somewhere that sells time so I can do them though... lol

got the same grille and love it.

how did you wire the fogs? I used a relay that triggers off the low-beams only. That way I can be legal for inspections. Didn't see the need for a switch. also ran a 10 amp fuse. If need be, I can pull the fuse if any issues crop up later

When I ordered the grille I ordered the OEM GT headlight/foglight switch and harness... It has all the relays and fuses already in line and I pretty much just had to use the chassis ground and the power supply from the fuse box and then the rest pretty much just plugged into the holes that were open in the headlight switch... it is supposed to be wired exactly like a GT or a pony package v6... I have a v6 and wanted the center fogs because of the look plus it deletes the pony off the front... I have no badges or stripes at all on my car and wanted to "delete" the one from the front as well... I don't think I'm going to mind the fogs only working with the running lights or the high beams because it will be better than low beams in a parking lot and will help with the high beams on the back roads out here in rural nc... lol
