4 inches? You'll be tucking tire, heck, RIM with that!

Welcome. I'd say 2" max. Eibach sportlines are the sleekest lowering spring out there.

3-4 inches would be SLAMMED, like literally, youd hit something...
Id take a look around and you will see most guys manage no more then 2''
You might could manage more of a drop but its way overkill, and youd be better off with airbags at that point

do you have any other mods? cause aftermarket fascias can be lower like mine, my front chin is 7 3/4 off the ground, i cant image having 4" of clearance, i know i wouldnt even be able to leave the driveway, literally, when i first got my front facsia i had to always get out of my mustang and lay down wood so i could leave until i finally found just the right angle.

lowerd stangs look sick, but i would never go lower then 2" drop, maybe if you had another car, definatley not a daily driving car.

Yeah man, I wouldn't go any lower than 2". Here's an example of what the H&R SS springs look like. They are a 2" drop.

HEY 09......3" to 4" is waaaaaaay too much onthe street. IMO, 2" would be maximum and 1.5" is just right..!!!

Take a look here: http://www.americanmuscle.com/05-07-...g-springs.html

These are the springs that most people here use, and there are many customer images so you can see what you like and buy the appropriate spring set. You can get 1", 1.5", and 2" drops with the springs listed. I have H&R race springs and they lower the car 1.5" in front and 1.4" in the rear and they are really stiff.

Keep in mind that most of these springs recommend that you get aftermarket shocks/struts such as Koni or Tokico to help match damping with the new spring rates. My car was terrible to ride in without changing the shocks/struts out.

I went 3" front and 2.75" rear with my H&R coilovers on my 06 but that was maxed out low as it could go here are some pics
btw what kind&size wheels do you have? keep in mind the below is lowered with 20" wheels on 35 series tires

Here's a comparison when it was lowered on BMR springs&tokico shocks I think this was just over 1.4" in front and 1.5" in back not low enough imo oh yeah my front chin was less than 4" off the ground and I didn't have any issues with clearance
