Well, I got what may be my final appearance mod on Rose today. My CDC Classic duo-toned. This marks what will probably be the last appearance modification Rose will ever see.

Here's what we started out with.


And then, the mod bug bit me. So on came the mods...

1/4 Window Louvers
11.5" Silver Vinyls w/ .5" Pinstriping
SHR Honeycomb Blackout Panel
8" Shorty Antenna
Red Painted Calipers
Flowmaster 40's (Chrome tips!)
2010 Hypercoated GT Premium Wheels; 18x9 up front and 18x10 out back.
Wrapped in Nitto NT555s.
CDC Classic Chin.

I feel like all of these are among the most tasteful mods you can buy for the 05-09 GTs, and I've finally brought it all together into my vision.

Lowering is in the plans, but I don't really consider that much of a visual.

Looks great, I personally like stripes all the way down the bumpers and not just on top. Also you may consider clear turn signal lenses, they would look great with the silver stripes.

I'm not a fan of stripes that don't go all the way down the bumpers. It just looks un-finished, personally. And, like TypeS said, I say go with some clear corners. That little splash of orange just kind of kills it.

However, WHAT THE ****. You ordered your chin from RPI after I did... and you got yours first, lol. I've been waiting for a month now and it hasn't even been shipped yet. Did you call them up and bitch non-stop until they shipped yours or something? Let me know your secret!

No way I'm doing anything with the lights. You start making lights clear where they weren't meant to be, then you start moving towards the rice category.

Yeah, I say do the stripes all the way down to the bumpers. It might give it more of a contrast.

Have you thought about getting painted side mirror covers like the new '10s and '11s?

I have, but also remember I've introduced (or more or less stayed with) the textured black that the mirrors come in, as far as the blackout panel and the middle of the chin. I think if I did anything with the mirrors I might do away with the a little too much of that color.

The blackout panel is actually not affixed yet, I just prop it up there for photos, so finished stripes are still doable.

your car looks beautiful, and i completely agree with your view on the the clear signals. stripes all the way down is all this mustang is missing! I have my stripes all the way down and definitely do not regret it!
