What to do next?
Looking for some advise on what to do next, when car was stock ran 14.92 1/4 mile shifting at 5500RPM, JLT CAI Bama tunes ran 14.22 1/4 mile shifted at 5500RPM (couldn't get any traction to start, then spun again after shifting into 2nd), added Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial II 13.57 1/4 mile shifted at 6000RPM (no fear of losing it when shifted to 2nd), got 60' times from 2.2 down to 1.9 with the Mickey's.
I am extremely happy with mid 13's but want to get into high 12's in the next month or 2 while staying natural aspirated.
Here is my shopping list in order that I think will make the biggest impact:
4.10 Gears (stock 3.18 now)
UMI LCA
Aluminum Drive Shaft
I guess the questions are:
Think this will get me in the 12's?
Is my list prioritized correctly or should the Drive Shaft come before LCA?
Anything else I should do (let's keep it under $2,000.00 total)?

These cars should run mid 13's stock, at least that's what I've heard. But yeah, those mods should help you get into the 12s. Have you considered longtubes? From what I've heard those yield outstanding gains.
I agree that the stock performance was quite disappointing, in the early 90's my '89 5.0 ran 14.40's stock 13.90's with gears and better tires, I expected at least high 13's out of my '07 without any work, it just didn't have the horse, only 93MPH through the traps. The CAI + tune really woke the car up but traction was an issue, not only getting the car moving but shift to 2nd and would go sideways, couldn't use the race tune I purchased, until this year with tires.
I to have heard of many of the S197's running mid 13's stock, at the local drag strip most are running low 14's, the one's running mid to better 13's have work done, especially tires, the consistent sub 13 one's are either FI or have engine work done.
I will be happy with the occasional high 12 but consistent low 13's, gears and drive shaft should get me there, the LCA should help with more consistent launches.
Headers are a good suggestion, I am trying to wait until next year for headers and possibly the Trick Flow 390HP kit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TFS-K519-390-375/ then finish it off with a better intake.
Thank You for the feedback.
