Post Hello

It's been a while since I have read threads, or let alone posted one. Though to some it might seem like a good thing that I didn't post.

But I would like to let you all know that thanks to some individuals on here I learned that patience is a virtue. And that finally on the 21st of June I will be getting my car. A 2006 Mustang Black V6, not that bad for a first car I think.

My question to you guys/girls is...have you ever purchases aftermarket parts for you car before you even had it in your possession? If so what did you buy?

Remember patience is a virtue, why would you want to purchase anything if you don't have the vehicle?

ya, i would just wait, its not like you can really do anything before you have it. i know the anticipation will kill you but just use your time to make a plan and just think about what you want. if you wait you will know exactly what you want. also some things look better in person then pics. just wait for it man. also if you wait you can save money for something better then you originally planned.

I've purchased things while my car was in the shop.. didn't have it for a few months. I just held onto the parts... but plan out what you want to do, then you can buy after you get the car. You might end up changing your mind and want something else, etc.

Performance intro mod, CAI and tune. It's definitely worth it.

I'm one of those guys who believes in immediate gratification as the best option. No it doesn't always work out in the long run but it's IMMEDIATE. That being said I had to say goodbye to my car before I was able to buy it 3 weeks later at the price I was willing to pay. I guess there's a lesson in there somewhere I'm just to impatient to find it. Congrats and when you get it don't forget to post pics.

I'm still pretty new to the threads, but before my car got here (3 month wait), I ordered a chrome pony to replace the new style black chrome one, I've had my wheels for a few months now and still havnt installed it. Not sure I want to install it at all now and usually I'd rather just cruise around, LOL.
I think I'd wait till you get it and go from there. Congrats by the way, you'll love the stang!
