Well I currently am driving a red 2011 5.0 manual. It is SAWEET!

The dealership let me take the car home for the night to make sure it's the car I want. The actual car I am buying is a 2011 black GT premium with 3.73 gears.

So excited and just had to tell someone! I'll get pics of the Black 5.0 when I have it in a week.

The most exciting thing is I am only 21 and they are giving me a loan without a co sign! They said being military really goes a long way towards Ford credit.

I am so giddy and can't wipe this smile off of my face.

This is Greenway ford in Orlando btw. Everyone there has been awesome. I had been there 2 years ago for a warranty issue with my 07 GT and they were ******! Happy to see the economy is filtering out the bad apples...

 

I am guessing by the amount of excitement in your post that this is the car you want. Heh, I don't think you're going to rest much tonight.

BTW, I'd rather have the red one. Black is nice, until you drive it everyday and start noticing scratches. Besides, red just looks sweet.

 

The red has gotten me a lot of attention for just the one day I've had it. My car now is dark gray and the scratches show up pretty bad as it is... I'll try my best to keep it clean... maybe a clear bra in my future?

I am extremely impressed with these new cars... It is worlds better than my 07. All of the standard features are very nice. The suspension is so much softer, and I have adjustable Tokico shocks and struts on mine. I love the ford sync. Everything is hands free. Through my iPhone I can play music or make calls through bluetooth. I wasn't aware it was standard with the new mustangs.

The 6 speed transmission is pretty amazing. The gears are very close together, there is almost no play from left to right. The car shifts so smooth and the gears are very easy to find.

This is the car I wanted, but I didn't expect to get into one so soon.

 

Adjustable Tokicos?! Are those dealer installed?

 

No, I had them installed on my 07 GT... if that wasn't clear.

At full soft on my 07 GT it feels like the 2011 stock. We'll see how it feels when I drop the 2011... I'm going to wait a few months possibly a year before I start to mod it. I will do the usual axle-back, intake and tune, and a drop.

 

damn i really wanna test drive one of these. I'm gonna try when i get an oil change this weekend lol

 

You definitely should... you may end up walking away with one though just a warning. haha
