************i have 2006 gt convertible k & n intake bbk 62mm throttle body steeda spacer and 4.10 gears and when I hold the brake and bring it to 1000 rpm I launch perfect with bite but no spin. I chirp into 2nd ad 3rd and I'm at 60 but I was never able to chierp gears until I went to 4.10s soi not sure how iu would do it in an auto without a gear swap. 5.5 0-60 I did and that seems high considering stock does 5.3 and I have some good mods done so I blame myself for not knowing how todrive it properlky maybe.
Is it possible my tune is off or something? Does 5.5 0-60 sound right based on what I've done? It seems like people here r getting better resultswith less mods. I have trinity tuner using k & n firm shift tune. What rpms should I be shifing at for best results? Chirp sounds great but I'm pretty sure its taking away from the times.

With the stock tune, you're limited by lower torque and softer shifts than if you had custom tunes. But since you're so worried about warranty you'll just have to either tough it out or take the skirt off, grow some nutz and get a CAI & tune.
You guyz that worry about warranty are wusses. Just do it and enjoy the car before it and you are old. Besides, how much warranty can be left on an '06?
