Default Shifter boot

Is the shifter boot on a 2006 GT leather or vinyl?

My understanding has been that the shifter boot is leather, along with the leather wrap around the steering wheel and the center of the leather-trimmed seats. The majority of the seat is not leather though, as most assume.

The boot is actually vinyl as I found out when I put a real leather one in. Guessing the so called leather on the steering wheel is also. The seating surfaces on the front seats are poor quailty leather, the rest of the seat and all of the back seats are vinyl.

I changed mine out too, and went with a perforated black leather boot from redlinegoods.
