gauge install help!!!!
Finally, the gauges come today...
but i feel confused for the installation manual they give me. i got all 3 from glowshift. one for boost, one for fuel pressure, and the other one is air/fuel ratio. i want to connect the wires on the light /dimme switch.
but, I DONT KNOW how to take it off, and i dont know which color is ground, which color is ignition switch 12v, and which color is constant 12v.(i mean the light/dimme switch) i just want to splice them on the back of the dimme/light switch.. any one have pictures for help? appreciate...

and for the air/fuel I dont want to attach to the o2 sensor, cuz the heat can burn the wire if i m not paying attention, so i want to follow the instruction book which said "tap into the oxygen directly on the input on the ECU of the vehichle." so my question is whre it is..(pictures appreciate)

hey raywang5, this might help you with the light
dimmer switch.

sounds like its a narrowband A/F gauge. This is an easy install. Just get under the car and follow the wire that comes out of the driver's side exhaust manifold o2 sensor. And, jump it! tie it down so it doesn't lay on anything too hot.

thx guys, but actually it is wideband,( i decide to change it), so i got a bung. and my question is, where to drilling the hole? is it on the exhaust header? or on the pipes? if it is on the pipes, does that mean i need to drill another hole if i change the exhaust.? and i need to welding on it? i have 0 knowledge about welding.. guess i will have it install in some muffler shop.. the boost gauge and fuel pressure gauges are kind of easy ..

I haven't installed a bung but it is my understanding that it should be before the Cat on the pipe leading into the cat.
"Hammeron" thanx for the link above, I still haven's hooked up my light wire for my (aftermarket) tach. That little picture and description sure helps.
