Default New Car Ich

Hi All,

I currently have a 2007 Mustang GT that is black in color. It is in good shape. I really have an ich to buy a new Mustang GT and I am trying to decide if its something I should do. Do you think it is unwise to trade in? I really am looking at the convertibles and maybe a different color than black. I do still owe a little bit more on the 2007, but it would be nice to upgrade.

Also what do you think a fair price is for:

- 2011 Mustang GT Coup
- 2011 Mustang GT Conv
- 2010 Mustang GT Coup
- 2010 Mustang GT Conv

Thanks all!

It's always unwise to buy a brand new car... it's one of the worst financial decisions in the world...

About pricing... all I know is that an optioned GT 2011 is 41,000 or so.

In all honesty, I wouldn't even think about trading up unless it was for a 2011 if I were you. Other than a little nicer interior, you wouldn't gain anything on the 2010.

+1 on not trading up on a '10. A good price on an '11 is invoice minus any rebates.

Hmm, well if you are going from a coupe to a vert, it will seem like a very different car so I wouldn't exclude the '10 vert. Unless it's a smokin' deal, I'd go with the '11 coupe though.

Actually, I'd wait until '12!
