Default Quick SCT Q

Have the CAI/SCT combo (brenspeed 87, 91 & 93 tunes)...New to tuning I am wondering if the speed limiter (govenor?) has been removed...Haven't been able to try it yet and am waiting to try if safely...What's the factory setting, 120ish? Also, do you think my redline has moved (was set at factory around 6Kish...never driven the car to redline and am just curious...

Im not sure but I believe if you go and look at your SCT it will tell you. Go to you tune and go to adjust setttings.
Scroll down and see if there is a max speed.

Just make sure NOT to change anything!
Also... if you are still unsure... why not call Brenspeed?
They can answer that question VERY quick.

Brenspeed usually bumps the rpm limiter to 6500. Most to speed limiters are set to 155.

Factory speed limiter is set at 155mph I believe and the rpm limiter at +/-6300. This is info I remember from a "Car & Driver" or "Motor Trend" magazine article I had read when I bought mine back in May of 08

Factory rev limit is 6250. Bullitt was 6500. My Bama tune bumped it up to 6750, but I backed it down to 6500.

I was about to say you can adjust the setting yourself on your Brenspeed tune for the top speed and I bet you would be fine.
Just as long as you don't go crazy on it.

i have a brenspeed SCT, they upped the rev limiter to 6500 and turned off the speed limiter.
you can also adjust it yourself if you want.
