I made my own a week ago. It appears that one doesn't raise the pedal much from the carpet. I raised mine about an 1.5" at the top and an 1" at the bottom.

I run one of these in my 2011 I ran one in my 06 and both of my 2010's looks great and combined with some racing pedals really makes the footwell pop but be advised the footwell is different on the 2010/11 models this pedal does not fit completely flush like it does on the 05-09s and what I mean by that is the foot rest area on the 10+models is slightly smaller the pedal will still fit but not as snug as on the 05-09s I wouldn't trade mine as it really looks killer
edit don't get ripped off by that seller look these up on ebaymotors $19.95 shipped is what I just payed for mine last week!

Who's the EBay seller? I'm not seeing anything under $35.00 on EBay.

I ended up ordering from http://www.stangdeadpedals.com/modul...docs/index.php

It is well built, a super easy install and looks great (IMHO)

Looks good, but I worry about this: "Installation is a snap, taking only seconds. No drilling required." It seems like taking the molding panel off and getting to that bolt on the frame is going to take more than a few seconds (the GT500 pedal covers + dead pedal kit from AM uses this bolt).

3M adhesive tape installation would be disappointing...

martingz---does that dead pedal feel firm, or does it give some as you press down on it? Seems like it would press down under the foot since it's just resting on top of carptet.

It seems the pedals that bolt on underneath the side panel would be firm and not give at all.

Thanks.
