They can fit towards the rear axle without problems if you're careful.

Sounds like you may have the same issues I have. I put the O/R H on this week, already had Mac axlebacks and I now know what "TRUMPETING" is. I think I will add the M80's too, I can't take this. I don't mind the loud so much as the blaaatttt sound from 2300-2800 rpm. I did notice that it seemed to cruise at 70 with less effort though. Good luck!

Sure do and i dont much care for it. I emailed chandler about it and he is suggesting hi flo cats. But i have heard alot of people say resonators are best. Chandler was say there could be a chance of rubbing. I dont know if there mechanic just dont like installing these or what. I shot him another email saying that alot of people have them without any issues so will be interesting to see his response.

I like everything about my exhaust except that trumpeting. The trumpeting makes me feel like im driving a ricer. URRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

so the email response i got back from brenspeed. they are say they need to be less than 5inches in diameter and no longer than a 12inches. this sucks b/c m 80s and others are atleast 14inches.

its ok to get the 14" ones my magnapacks are that way with a 4" diameter....plus since they are completely straight through, you can push more of the exhaust pipe in them to make up for the extra space to get a good snug fit...so don't let the 14" ones scare you..just buy them and get them installed...you're looking at maybe 150 to buy them and and install them and trust me...you'll be amazed

I just ordered the M-80s from Brenspeed today and will install them myself. They don't advertise them, but they have them and they are as good a price as anywhere else. Based off reading I've done, I think I will stagger them as much as I can to bust up the balanced harmonics that cause drone.
