I don't like the split in the tail lamps and the back up light at the end.
That blows it for me. I do approve of the idea though...

That's what killed it for me too. The back up light just seems "out of place"

I agree, the back up lights are just meh. Sorta like an afterthought.
Just to clarify, the inner most sections on the trunk are only reflectors and not actual lights?

Looks that way. I like the backup lights, but the reflectors really kill the look for me.

if one had the mechanical inclination, they could just rig up the center lights to around through the center trunk and then to the L/R lights

EDIT: wth?! 05-09s don't come with the ducktail of the lower bottom half?? it'll look so out of place without the ducktail at least..

I never thought I would see a Shelby style tail light conversion actually being made. It doesn't look too bad. Like some have said, I would put the back up lights in the inboard lights. The kit is still in R & D so I'll wait until I see the final product before deciding to pull the trigger on it.
