Default gts 3 hood on

here is the larger pics of my new hood..i'm sorry the last ones were small. i don't want anyone to get mad nor upset cuz i've got a cobra on my grille. I adore the newer gt500's but i didn't wanna make my car a carbon copy of one. i absolutely love the 67 and 68 gt500 and i was wanting to turn my car into a retro 68. i just never really thought the 07 and up gt 500's didnt capture the true classic look.

Looks good.

Use the [ img ] tag without the spaces.

Beware rain water. I get water in my engine compartment all the time with this hood, and it effs up the COPs if you let it sit. It's discussed in another thread, maybe on another forum.

i had asked a mechanic about that problem and he said with the engine it shouldn't affect it as tight as everything is.

Wrong. Water will pool in your spark plug wells. If you let it sit there, it will eventually get past the COP boots and down to the spark plugs. This causes arcing issues and rust. This has happened to me a LOT since I put this hood on, enough to make me buy some of the drains that Trufiber offers for other hoods.

i have never had any problems with rain getting in places it shouldnt and causing issues in the 2 years i have had the hood. It has set it the rain plenty of times for 12 hours too. Not saying it cant happen but it just seems very unlikely.

BTW hood looks great
