Some 60lb injectors can be very hard to get to idle properly. Any good tuner will tell you that...and know how to get them to work or be close to idling ok.

I have never heard a tuner say that and I have dealt with a ton. I have 60 # injectors. It's taken each tuner one adjustment to get the idle correct.

I installed it in and the car will start up and idle for 5 seconds and then turn right off. the fuel pressure is going from 25lbs to about55lb or so then turing off, i had a shop take a look at it and they can not figure it out. please does anyone have an idea what is wron with it i need my car back. Or any one with the fuel system that i have, did you have the same problem?
You need to talk with someone that is familiar with how to tune the S197s. They are different than the pre-2004. Several shopds claim to know how to tune cars and then screw **** up when they mess with stuff they shouldn't be touching.

Check the strategy in the handheld you have. Sometimes the tuner puts in the wrong strategy. It will be something like GXY1. It is stamped directly on the side of your computer.

If you have an old tune that you were running before witht he procharger, you should be bale to load the tune and the car should start. It will run rich, you will smell fuel, but it should run. If you have a wideband it will read 10.0 while idling.

Check each connection to the MAF, TPS, FPS, Cam sensors, alternator. Sometimes these things get damaged and we don't realize it.

Follow each vacuum line and even blow into the line to see if you have resistance. If you have a vacuum gun, even better.

Start from scratch. Basics first. Its probably something dumb.

After you are all done and the car idles good, pull your plugs and check them. They may get fouled while trying to get the car to idle.
