Default 2011 C/S Waxing Tips

Hello all, I have a black CS and was wondering how you go about waxing it with the side strips on it since they are a flat back. The decklid is also a flat black so I wasn't sure about that either. Any thoughts? I dont' have much experience waxing cars.
Thanks!

I usually wax over it then take a Q-tip to get what ever wax gets stuck in the top and bottom of the stripe off.

Thank all. I'm out of town this week but will have pictures of the new ride on Friday. I am going to have it professionally waxed on Friday afternoon. (I figure I'll let the pros handle the first one to get it right).

I use Turtle Liquid Ice, which you can wax right over vinyl stripes which I have on my rocker panels. You can also use this on the black plastic (grill, chin spoiler, etc) There is no residue like normal waxes. Don't know about using it on flat black paint, though.

I have a 09 CS also, and I usually don't go over the stripes. Just above and below them.

Same here, but I might try waxing over them next time and try the q-tip trick..
