Default Is this a good intake or not?

so my dad and i bought a 2007 black mustang GT less then 3,000 miles, and i was wondering what intake i should be looking for. ive read all sorts of topics. so im wondering if this site is pointing me into the right direction. IT seems a bit pricy but is this good intake, and a good tune? or is the whole thing junk becuz of the TUNE? http://jlttruecoldair.com/ZenCart/in...roducts_id=276

You need a tune with that one as stated and those are really good intakes, without a tune the car will barely run and go into limp mode so be sure to get one if you get it!

That CAI is as good as any of the tune-required CAI's. However, the tune it comes with is canned and inferior to the custom tunes that you can get with a CAI & tune combo from AM or Brenspeed. The tune is roughly 80% of the combo's power adder.

Don't get excited over sizes. Unless you're heavily modded internally, a larger size won't help you gain any power since the engine can only pull in so much air. Even the stock TB is more than sufficient.
