so my dad and i bought a 2007 black mustang GT less then 3,000 miles, and i was wondering what intake i should be looking for. ive read all sorts of topics. so im wondering if this site is pointing me into the right direction. JLT products are great.

 

You need a tune with that one as stated and those are really good intakes, without a tune the car will barely run and go into limp mode so be sure to get one if you get it!

 

well as u see it is 700$ so it comes with the tune is that sct x3 tuner that it comes with any good and is that price decent or to much?

what size is yours. that 700$ one is 110mm, the site u gave me is 89mm. much difference?

 

That CAI is as good as any of the tune-required CAI's. However, the tune it comes with is canned and inferior to the custom tunes that you can get with a CAI & tune combo from AM or Brenspeed. The tune is roughly 80% of the combo's power adder.

Don't get excited over sizes. Unless you're heavily modded internally, a larger size won't help you gain any power since the engine can only pull in so much air. Even the stock TB is more than sufficient.
