Question 06 skid plate

Is it ok to take the skid plate off and ride without it ??

I actually think this is the part I made a thread about looking for the name of it... If its the piece between your radiator and under the front bumper then I don't see why not, I haven't had one since 08. I've never had one actually.

yeah that is the piece mine broke while i was driving down the highway.

I took that off when I switched bumpers, Ive been meaning to put it back on lol...

yeah mine flew off the highway and i was wondering if its really that important.

I think its actually a radiator deflector shield...

Doubt it, I've never had one and I've had a GT bumper since 08.

lets say mine broke how much is that piece , if its cheap im putting it on, if its too much oh well its meant to be.

I was trying to find out the same thing, I just need to sort through www.fordparts.com its on there somewhere.
