Default Brake Pedal Creaking

O know this sounds crazy, but my brake pedal has been making the most annoying creaking sound. The harder you press it the louder it is. The car stops fine, it holds and doesn't drop to the floor so I believe the master cylinder is okay. Anybody else ever hear this. And if so, how did you fix it. I could blast the stereo, but sometimes I just like listening to the car.

Is the pedal vibrating or is it just making that noise?

Mines really creaky too. No issues with the brakes, just a creaky pedal. My last mustang did the same thing. I never worried too much about it.

My '05 GT's brake pedal creaks as well. Tends to do it in the summer after the car has been driven 15+ miles. Never had any issues with stopping or pedal pressure... just a creaky pedal.

I guess that's just the way it is.... Okay at least there isn't a problem. I might see if I can get into the boot a spray some kind of lube in there and get lucky.

My clutch makes this noise... I investigated it once and saw this rubber that looked like it was rubbing against something... I forget, been a while and I'm not home so I can't go check it out.

Heat and humidity play a big part. This morning, car was cool. The temperature outside was a cool 77 degrees, for Florida and no noise. Brake pedal was as quiet as a Church mouse. So the heat has a real effect on it for some reason. Huh????????

I was annoyed with this issue for a while too. Tried lubricating the bits under the dash to no avail. Ended up changing the brake fluid fixed the issue. Been fine for a long time now.
