for the guys with 20's
#44
I know this is actually an old thread but what the heck
20's are a love 'em or hate 'em thing for many. There are many variables involved, like rim style, color of car, height etc. For example 20's on a stock height car IMHO just look terrible. Too much metal and not enough rubber added to too much tire-to-fender space is a mix made in Hell.. You need to surround 20's with fender.
Another thing is view angles. I love my 20's from certain angles but from others I really don't dig them at all. I tend to drift from thinking my car looks awesome to ghetto, hey, maybe I'm schitzo/bi-polar
To accommodate my fickle nature I have 20's and 18's. Admittedly the 18's are uglyass GT500 rims but they are much better suited to road course running and to be fair the ride is MUCH Better on those than on the 20's.
pictures of both guises..............
