Default Blasphemy!!!

Local dealership has a 302 Boss in stock. Swing by and look in window. Frigging 6 speed automatic. EPIC FAIL. This dealership has 11 other 2011 mustangs all automatics. What in the hell has happened to this country. Ugh.

Guess I'm gonna go test drive the hell out of one of them anyway.

It's really a shame....now all of the sudden since ferrari and lamborghini are making the duel clutch paddle shifters, everyone gets it in their head that the automatics are faster then standards....From cobalts to corvettes and everything in between, a well driven standard will out drive a well driven automatic.

Now, for standard drivers like myself who are knew to the game and not very good, well, the above doesn't exactly apply. But as far as car potential, that ones pretty obvious.

I don't care which one can shift faster, I will always buy a manual in a performance car. Autos make me feel less in control of the car, especially in the corners in spirited driving.

I am glad I know how to drive a manual, but there will be one day I am glad I got an auto.

yay another one of these threads

autos might have a slight advantage in drag racing, but anything with a corner you are at a huge disadvantage.

for those that don't race, its how much you want to be connected to and in control of your vehicle.

The TCI auto shifters paired with torque converters they have for late-model Mustangs can shift before you can even contemplate shifting. I love the feel of a manual, sure, but I love the convenience and efficiency of an automatic car as well.

I'm really sick and tired of people talking about automatic cars like they're not cars at all.
