Hello,
I need some opinions. I have an 11 CS and am contemplating getting rid of the stripe and adding 5.0 emblems instead. I'm not really into adding emblems but I'm not really a fan of the stripe either.
The reason I got a C/S was for the front grill and the pedestal spoiler. The stripe is the ONLY thing I don't really care for with the C/S package. The stripe is fairly subtle since it's black on black but I'm afraid it will look strange if I take it off and don't add the emblems.
Thoughts?

I dont know why it would look strange without the stripe, it wouldn't look any different than a normal GT just without the GT badge?

here is a GT/CS with a black stripe, but due to the lighting you cant really see the stripe. So this is what you would look like-

I think it looks fine

It still looks like it's missing something to me but it could just be that I'm not used to it.
Thanks

First let me say that I like both looks. However, I also like the idea of being a little unique or different. Anyone that knows much about Mustangs and keeps up is going to know what your driving anyways. The stripe actually looks pretty dang nice in direct sunlight.

Personally I like the stripe and I think it may look just like a plain jane GT if you take it off and add 5.0 emblems, even with the different spoiler and grille.

I agree. That's exactly my hesitation. I think I will leave it as is. I hate to butcher the C/S package and the above picture does look pretty nice. The subtle black on black really helps. I guess it might be different if my car was red with the black stripe. I would definitely not like that but then I wouldn't have bought it.
